TALIA AND MADDISON

I am just so lucky to have so many excellent friends! This week we had a visit from Talia, Maddison and Sara. As you can tell from my recent posts, I just love spending time and playing with the other kids. Dad says that I am so much like my mum in that respect, I guess he's right but don't tell him I agreed!

Here we all are posing for a group shot - the only way Mum and Sara could get us all to stay still in the same shot was to turn the TV on! Sad, I know. Hence why it appears Talia and I are doing our best Peter Brock impressions (you remember, from those annoying tyre adds where he would never look directly at the camera).Talia and I also had a great time playing with the magnets from the fridge - "See Talia, this one is cut out in the shape of a person..."And of course their were the usual laughs and lots more fun playing in the tunnel, tent and with the copious quantities of toys I seem to have accumulated. Thanks for coming girls, I can't wait 'til next time. (PS - Talia, make sure you bring your walker again - that was very helpful).

POP MARK'S BOAT

Hello there! I am very excited about the new addition to our back yard. I think I already told you that Gran and Pop Mark are less than a month away from both being back in Perth for good. Well, because of this, Pop Mark had to bring his boat back when he first moved and he really needed somewhere for it to live. So for a little while at least it is going to live at our house.

As you can see, I had great fun playing in the boat with Pop - lots of room to crawl, heaps of places to pull to stand... ... and an assortment of new maritime things to try and ingest! Thanks Pop Mark, hanging out on Two Bucks II was lots of fun - I can't wait to hit the waves!

TOY BASKETS & WALKING

Mum and Dad have bought some new shelving cubes and they have these great baskets for some of the spaces. Not only do the baskets hold all my toys, but they make great leaning posts. I have learnt though to be careful when using them to pull myself to stand - they can be a little wobbly and I have to admit I did learn that the hard way!
I have also figured out that I almost fit in a basket, but that's a challenge for another day...

Mum says I should also let you know that I am on the verge of walking. I cruise around the furniture and move pretty easily from lounge to lounge to coffee table now. I'll even reach up and use the kitchen bench or table to help me at this point. I will also stand on my own with nothing to hold on to at all. And today I took my first little step (towards Heidi, mum's friend from school) - Mum tried to play it cool, but I could tell how excited she was. I gave it another shot for Daddy too - should be on my feet any day now, look out!

TROUBLE X2

Here I am with my best friend Sophie. Mum, Dad and I went to visit her and Aunty Megan the other day and it was great. Sophie can be a little bit shy sometimes, but it doesn't take long for her to relax around me - especially since I am such a peristent little chicken (that's what Mum says anyway). I can see that she and I have many adventures ahead of us.

Mum got a little frustrated with us this day as she couldn't get us both to be still at the same time for the camera. She used the word 'ominous' - I wonder what that means...
And by the way, check out our outfits - pretty interesting from a couple of mums who weren't going to dress their daughters in pink!

HANGING OUT WITH DYLAN

Yes, yes. As you can see I am becoming quite the little socialite. Here I am with my good friend Dylan. His mum, Alison, brought him down to our place the other day and we had great fun. The only thing is that when Mum and Alison get together all they seem to do is talk. Blah, blah, blah. Dylan and I ended up resorting to sleep they went for so long!
And what is my secret for the incredible growth rate? A diet rich in iron of course...
Love and kisses,
Hannah

CHLOE AND COHEN

I had the best time the other day. My friends Chloe and Cohen came to visit and we had a fantastic time playing in my Dora tent and tunnel. Daddy's 30th birthday balloons also provided us with hours of entertainment as we chased them around the lounge room.

Chloe and Cohen brought their mum and dad with them. Mum and Dad were very happy to catch up with Natalie and Chris and mum loved the chance to cuddle April and Taj - the 4 month old twins. Daddy says Mummy didn't like babies much before I came along, I can't really see it myself...

Can't wait to see them again,

Hannah
