BATHING BEAUTY

When it rains it pours - yet another post! But I was just so cute in the bath last night that Mummy couldn't help herself. I am so clever that I am sitting up in the bath now. I think I am almost ready to move into the big girl bath. I can hear every one of Mummy's vertebra calling out 'NO!' Our bathtub is very low, lucky bath time is Daddy's job.

I love bath time. It's so warm and I have so much fun playing with my bath toys, not to mention all the time it means I get to spend with my daddy.

So I hope I'll catch you all very soon. Stay tuned for another post soon - Mummy is on a bit of a run with the photos so it's only a matter of time...

JUST HANGING OUT

Mum just thought I should post some of the most recent photos she has taken - she is very proud of herself, although I just think she had an outstanding model to work with. Just kidding! My Nana says I look just like my mum did at this age in the picture below. She still does the worried look with her eyebrows just like I am here.I am really loving my books at the moment. I'm sure you are thinking that means I love reading them, not quite. I love eating them! Lucky they are made of pretty sturdy cardboard or I would be chewing on pulped paper by now!
Mum thought she would get a little creative with her photos the other day even going as far as setting up a black background. I think the results speak for themselves!

A GIRL'S BEST FRIEND

Hi again. I thought I would share with you some pictures of me with my best mate Johnno. On this particular day, things started out pretty nicely - I mean, he didn't even get up and walk away when I got close to him.Turns out that was because he had other plans...
A big, wet kiss! (Great parenting, Mummy!)
Love,

IT'S BEEN A WHILE!

Hi there. I know, I know, I've left it a very long time between posts. The complaints have been rolling in and I guess this is where I try to blame it on my mum! She's so slack! Not really, I have just been so mobile lately that Mum and I are very busy every day. There's crawling and playing and chasing the dog and avoiding naps to keep me busy so finding time to sit down at the computer has become a lot more difficult.

Speaking of chasing Johnno, that's what I'm up to in the picture below. I really love Johnno but I'm beginning to wonder if the feeling is mutual. You see whenever I get close to him he gets up and walks away. It might have something to do with the time I wouldn't let go of his ear...
As I mentioned, I am a lot more mobile now - I am an excellent crawler and since I am so quick around the floor, Mum and Dad decided to get me a walker. I've heard them use the word 'containment' but I just think it's fun scooting around and playing with the cool dashboard.
Not only am I a jet at crawling, but I can now sit up on my own too. I was a little shaky at first and yes, there were a couple of falls with big whacks to the head, but I learnt to balance pretty quickly and love to sit and play with my toys. Mum is a little worried though as I sit kind of funny most of the time with one of my legs out in front and the other folded behind me. She thinks this will mess with my knees, I guess we'll have to wait and see.
My Daddy loves it when I wear a dress and this red number was my special present all the way from Sweden. Thanks Bengt and Anita. My Pippy Longstocking doll also came from Sweden (a pressie from Henrik and Ida).
So that's what's going on with me at the moment. I'm 7 and a half months old and weigh over 10kgs now. I'm almost 75cm tall and am wearing size 0 clothes (but I also fit into size 1 in most outfits). I can't wait for my first trip on a plane on June 9th - we are going to Brisbane to visit Gran and Pop Mark for 10 days and I am especially looking forward to all the cuddles and a trip to Australia Zoo.

Well, better go it's time for me to fight the morning nap for an hour or so before I finally realise how tired I am and give in to the sleep!

Will try to post again sooner next time,

Hannah.
