Just a quick post to show you the results of my visit to Santa at David Jones the other day. The 10 photos before this one show me wrestling with Mummy and generally doing anything I can to get away from that strange man in the red suit with the questionable white beard. I mean really, I'm all for cuddling random strangers, but even I draw the line at men in dodgy disguises.
Oh well, I'm sure that next year, you won't be able to drag me away from the big guy in red!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a new year filled with love, luck and dreams come true. We hope to catch up with you all very soon,
Love,
Mummy, Daddy and Hannah

WHAT'S BEEN GOING ON
Sorry, sorry, sorry. I know, I know, I've left it a whole month to update the blog page - that's almost 1/15th of my life! But things are getting kind of hectic around our place. I think Mum might be starting to lose the plot. She keeps walking around muttering something very uncomplimentary about lawn mower men and is even saying she is 'over shopping'. I had to get Daddy to check her temperature and to get her to have a bit of a lie down after that one!
So what's been happening in Hannah Land? Lots and lots.
I have learned to eat with a spoon and sometimes a fork ( I still need a little bit of help, but I am definitely getting there)
I have learnt that Johnno makes an excellent seat, foot rest, leaning post, mattress...
I have also learnt that it is a bad idea to crawl under the kitchen table and to then stand up. Crawl out first, silly!
I got to go to Dylan's first birthday party where I played with all the kids, ate copious quantities of party food and developed a severe case of cubby house envy (well, Mummy had the cubby envy really, I just like playing in it)
I still love bath time, it really is my special time to spend with Daddy - he is using the bath letters to teach me all sorts of new words and we play with the duckies and boats and watering can...
Then there was the day that I had a bit of a fall in the bathroom and bumped my head. I was very tough, now that I think about it, Mummy cried more than I did! What a cool lump it was though...
Not only did I get to go to a first birthday party, I also got to go to a 60th birthday party for my Grandad. I got to meet lots of new people, I got to stick my arm into the ice bucket lots of times and run around in the rain (thanks Daddy and Grandad) and Daddy even threw me higher than he ever has before - not bad for a little one dressed in pyjamas, feels like I should be wearing a cape... Mum wants me to day it was a fantastic party and everyone had a great time - I managed to sleep through the whole night, just like a big girl. Then my friends Jorja, Amelie, Sharne and Laura came to visit. I love playing with Jorja and Amelie is getting bigger and cuter every time I see her. I can't wait to meet Jorja's new brother or sister, but that won't be until next year.
And last but not least, I have learnt to drink through a straw. The shorter straws are better, but I am getting the hang of the longer ones.
Hmm, what else can I do. I can run, I have 5 teeth, I am talking more (can say Mum, Dad, Bub, More, Pa and Gog - that's Johnno. I love reading books and pointing out my favourite parts. I like the watch the Wiggles and dance to music. And even though I'm getting a little less cuddly now (I really have too much to do) I can give big kisses and wave hello and goodbye. I have also perfected the art of shooting a dirty look (usually at Mummy) and continue to excel at being cute - that's my specialty.
See you all soon,
Hannah
